Issuing a refund for an event ticket purchase

I wanted to learn about issuing a refund for a ticket that was purchased on a C&P Event. I found instructions on the C&P forums...

I have credited a transaction and run a report that shows that a refund has been made. Can Click & Pledge send me a confirmation of the refund?

Let's say a payer disputed a charge or that the credit card was rejected after authorization but before the charge settled.

What happens?...
