Every Event I create has a Campaign associated with it in Salesforce. The only difference with this event was there was a parent campaign with 2 child...

Wouldn't the error you found have affected all transactions/records? It was only this one Event that had the problem. Doesn't make sense.

I just re-established the connection per the instructions above. The issue was occurring only on the aforementioned event prior to this latest release...
