Duplicate Rule Bypass documentation?

Hi- I noticed the new version has something called a Duplicate Rule Bypass, but I can't find any documentation on it on your KB. Can you please tell me what it does? Thanks!

In the presence of the Duplicate Matching Rule, you may end up with an error when processing the transaction data into your Salesforce instance. To overcome that issue, now you have an option whether or not you want to bypass the Duplicate Matching Rule.

So checking that will cause the creation/update of Contacts by C&P to ignore any active Duplicate Rules on Contacts set to Block (there can be more than one) that might conflict with the matching rules you can set in C&P Settings? Am I understanding you correctly? Thanks.

Yes, if any Salesforce Duplicate Rule is set and to overcome that now, we have the option to bypass and create/update the contact.
