  • Error with C&Pay Suite

    I set up C&Pay Suite in my Sandbox. It's active / connected to C&P Connect. I tried to adjust the settings yesterday, but got an error message today "Attempt to de-reference a null object". Also, I am not sure about several things - the proper settings to make gifts combine with additional fee, setting up a recurring donation to go into a certain campaign, and in general, if everything else is set-up properly (which it isn't since I got that message). I'd appreciate some guidance. Happy to jump on a Zoom or Google meet call to discuss! Thank you. My instance is 00D8H0000008gIY. I just granted access for one week again. Thank you.

    We have received reports from our customers regarding post-installation scripts causing issues with the migration of custom settings, mappings, and other elements into the new format. We have resolved all reported issues with the post-installation script and released the new update. To make sure the transition of the installation is as smooth as possible, we request you create a new sandbox (either a partial or full replica of your production instance) and grant us login access so that we can gladly install the Click & Pay Suite.​

    However, we have daily Live Support Monday - Thursday details are below but the training webinars about Click & Pay Suite are coming soon... we will make an announcement.

    We request you create a new sandbox and grant us login access so that we can install the new Click & Pay Suite which resolves the issues.

      Hello CnP.Support.AM. It appears that the gifts are now processing in the Sandbox. Our old consultant set-up a flow that would combine the gift with the additional processing fee and then we would delete the duplicate gift from the system. I believe that there is a way that the new Click & Pay will combine gifts through a setting, right? If so, can someone jump on with me to show me how to set that up, or when/how could I get help on that? Thank you. Also, I want to be sure that things really are processing correctly in the sandbox and that I'm not mistaken. It would be great to get some help on this. I tried to go to the support through Trailblazer and I was told that since this was so new that I needed to put my q's here/get help here. Thanks. I granted access in the Sandbox again.

        Yes, in v10 you can combine the opportunity based on the conditions. You can do that under Settings > Opportunity > Opportunity/Product > Here set the condition and it will create one or multiple opportunities based on the criteria.

          Hello,
          Thank you for the push in the right direction. I have done the following: Disabled the flows that were set-up to combine the two gifts. I then deleted the Existing "Opportunity/Product List" rules that were in the system (I figured I had to do this because my test donation didn't work with them still there). I put in a new Rule similar to yours above, and made a trial gift. The gift did combine on its own.

          However, my "donation method" and "Check/Ref Number" in my opportunity didn't update, as they used to. I cannot remember how to make that happen - or if I set that up or if our old consultant set that up. Would you please give me "simple" instructions on how to reconnect those items to my opportunity?

          I would like to be able to use this new system in my live instance, but now that is "broken" I don't feel comfortable adding it. At the "kick-off" for this, and in several follow-up emails, "we" have been told that support would be available along the way for these changes. I am not feeling very supported here as I have asked for direct support a few times and none is offered. We need a support forum like the old one for this new system. Many, many non-profits do not have a full IT department and we need things explained in a way that makes sense to lay people. I appreciate your help and ask for it to be clear, please! Thank you!             I just disconnected from the Sandbox and connect to production to push through items that needed to be in production. When I went to connect the Sandbox back, I realized that the "Connect to Click & Pay Suite might not have been checked...don't know. Either way, I got the following error:​

              Please try now and it should connect. However, you do not need to back and forth with establishing the connection between Sandbox and Production. Please see this post: Announcing Salesforce Sandbox Synchronizer - ClickandPledge.com Support Forum

              Please install the "Salesforce Sandbox Synchronizer" app in the Production instance and set it up so it posts data from your Production to your Sandbox so you can test it and make sure all is OK.

              The opportunity fields mapping can do under Custom Mapping based on the conditions:

                Hello CnP.Support.AM,

                I met with Emily and Debbie last week to review this. They were able to see that I am now unable to connect to either my production or my sandbox since installing the new synchronizer. They are working on it, I believe, but in the meantime, I am completely on hold. I followed up with them via email at the end of last week and today. Please let me know if you need anything from me.

                  Hello again CnP.Support.AM,
                  I was able to connect everything and the gifts were going into both our production and the Sandbox, as of a few days ago. I was giving them a few days before going back to check that they were processing correctly. However, there is a gift that came in today in production and is not in the Sandbox. Is there a delay? If not, feel free to take a look, I've opened access to our Sandbox. Thank you.

                    The transaction you are referring to was posted to your Sandbox instance but ended up in the C&P Data with the error related recurring transaction which has been addressed in the latest versions.

                    We have upgraded your Sandbox instance with the latest version of our app and now you can see the gift in your Sandbox instance.

                        We noticed that you have the C&P Events app installed in your Production instance. If you are using v9 Events then we recommend you wait for a week because the Click & Pay Suite is not yet compatible with v9 Events. We are working on the compatibility release and hopefully, the release will be out this week.

                        However, we encourage you to use the Store/Events in the Click & Pay Suite, which has a lot of features and flexibility.

                          Hello CnP.Support.AM, I would like to have Click & Pay installed in our production instance now. Our OrgID is 00D8b000002cgCX. I do not expect to use the Event/Store at this time though - waiting for the check-out pages to be a bit nicer. I have granted access for one week. Thank you.

                            We have upgraded your Production instance with the Click & Pay Suite.

                            Be sure to establish the connection with Salesforce, and don't forget to check the box "Connect to Click & Pay Suite" in CONNECT 3rd Party >> Salesforce, as shown in the below image:​​
