    Hey Click and Pledge,

    We installed Click and Pay Suite to a sandbox and we're ready to push that to production. Can you assist?

    We have upgraded your Production instance with the Click & Pay Suite.

    Be sure to establish the connection with Salesforce, and don't forget to check the box "Connect to Click & Pay Suite" in CONNECT 3rd Party >> Salesforce, as shown in the below image:​​

    NOTE: We have scheduled weekly releases addressing the Click & Pay Suite issues. Please ensure that we have access to your Production instance to upgrade your Production instance with upcoming releases of Click & Pay Suite.​

      Hey Click and Pledge,

      It looks like the settings we changed in the sandbox environment did not come over to production for click and pay suite. Could you assist in making sure what we had set up in the sandbox is now in production?

      The naming for opportunities did not come over and now the naming for our opportunities in production is incorrect. Could you help refresh all the incorrectly named opportunities in our production environment to the naming structure we had set up in our sandbox?

        We have upgraded your Production instance with the Click & Pay Suite not copied from the Sandbox. You have to do all customization in the Production instance. Please note that we requested you conduct a sandbox test before updating the Click & Pay Suite into your Production instance so that you are confident that the upgrade will not cause any issues.

          Okay, I'll update manually. A few more questions for you:
          1. We tried testing adding the coverage of processing fees for donors but a staff member found that click and pledge was creating two opportunities -- one for the processing fee and one for the opportunity. How do we ensure only one opportunity comes through for the total of the amount plus processing fee?
          2. Now that we have all the other options for payment methods, will these come through as normal opportunities? ie. paypal, venmo, good pay, apple pay

            There will be no difference in creating the opportunity with all payment methods. However, you will find the option to combine the opportunity in Settings > Opportunity > Opportunity/Products:

            Please note that opportunity can be combined only based on Item SKU and Miscellaneous Fee.

              Okay, great, thanks for the info!

              One more question for you -- we had some workflows set up to alert our staff when a temporary contact came in. It looks like those workflows are still work but the link for the temporary contact no longer sends them staff member to the right place. We were using the following as the link: {!CnP_PaaS__Temporary_Contact__c.Link}

              I've trained them how to process temporary contacts in Click and Pay Suite but I'm not able to figure out how to add the link to the temporary contact in our email alerts now. Is there a way to do this in Click and Pay Suite?

                Temporary contact has the same process. However, may I know how you added the link to the temporary contact record in your email? Please note that the RecordID value should be dynamic as shown in the below example link.


                Example: <https://xyz.vf.force.com/apex/CnP_PaaS__CnP_DynamicRedirectPage?recordId=a0N4W00 000dhWTsUAM>​

                  I attached a screenshot of how we added the link to the email. It does bring us to the temporary contact but we're not able to process the contact from that screen. I also attached a screenshot of where it brings us. We'd like the link to bring staff members to the page where they can process the temporary contact.

                  Related to the above, I had a staff member process a temporary contact and push the data into Salesforce but the opportunity did not come over with the contact. Previously, the opportunity would come through once we processed the contact. How do we get the opportunity data to come through?

                  I gave you access to our instance if you need it.

                      CnP.Support.AM we've run into another issue. One staff member processed two contacts in temporary contacts and the opportunity of one contact was attached to the other contact, the incorrect one. Any idea on why this may have happened?

                        We have upgraded your instance with the latest version of Click & Pay Suite which addressed various issues.

                        Would you please test now and let us know the order numbers if you still see the issue?

                          CnP.Support.AM I just tested and it looks like it's working correctly now. Thank you! And sounds good on the temporary contact link.

                          One more question for you -- when we used the virtual terminal with the old system, we didn't have to enter a cvv code. All of our material for asking for donations/credit card information does not include cvv code so we're receiving credit cards manually with no cvv code. Is there a way to remove this from the virtual terminal?

                              Awesome, thank you. I have another issue we ran into. We'd like to offer our donors the option to cover the extra fees. I've tried to set this up in Click and Pay Suite settings under Opportunity/Product using the Based On Item SKU field, as that looks like the only way to combine the processing fee and donation. I haven't been able to get the right naming and combination of fee and donation to come through. What's the best way to set up Opportunity/Product so that when a donor covers the fees, the opportunity comes through with the same naming as in Customize Name?
