  • Need Click & Pledge Install

    Hi. Michigan Environmental Council is ready for you to install the Payments and Events in our Salesforce. I haven't initially installed C&P in SF so I'm not sure how to grant access. I'm sure I'll have to grant access another way so please let me know what you need.

    We just reviewed and unable to locate the above OrgID in the subscriber list.

    You will find the KB article on how to grant access and locate your OrgID at the top of this page in the "INFORMATION NEEDED" section. Please grant us login access as an administrator and share the correct OrgID so we can update your instance.

        Ah, ok, please go to the appexexchange and install Click & Pledge Payment Class Library so that the grant access option will appear:

            Hi blatka ,

            We need to set up a Site Domain to complete your post-installation. As it can only be done once, we ask the customer to do that or get permission to set it up specifically. Would you like us to set it as https://environmentalcouncil.force.com ?

              I thought I did this once but I guess not. I did enable it just now as you suggested. In the final step I didn't yet choose "Allow using standard external profiles for self-registration, user creation, and login" - if that needs to be checked go ahead and do it, or whatever else you need to do. Thanks.

                You also need to connect your Click & Pledge account to Salesforce, which will require someone at your organization to login with their Salesforce login. Their login will be used to talk between the C&P account and Salesforce.

                  There's "My Domain", which is setting the domain for your internal users in Salesforce, and then there's the Site Domain, which is setting the domain for public users or users with "Community" licenses. The process looks almost identical, but they are two different things.

                      Alright @blatka,

                      We've installed the C&P apps as you requested. Since this is a fresh install, you may need to assign permission sets to the users that will be using the apps or processing temporary contacts. Otherwise I've completed the post-installation for you as well.

                      (this bit below is advised after every update, but you just established connection- so you shouldn't need to worry unless transactions are not showing up in Salesforce)

                      IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: It is IMPORTANT that you re-establish connection to Salesforce. The connected user must have access to various objects and the following access levels:
                      • Be an administrator
                      • Have the following permission sets assigned:
                        • PS-CnP-PaaS-Connected-User-ONLY
                        • PS-CnP-Event-Connected-User-ONLY (If the event is installed)
                      Establish connection with Salesforce: http://cnp.ooo/Salesforce-Connection

                      NOTE: Please make sure that the user who is settling the temporary contacts must have the following permissions (in case of Semi-Automatic & Fully-automatic Contact Creation as well as Connected user) :
                      • Field-Level Security set as Visible to the Opportunity objects standard fields i.e. Account Name, Amount, Lead Source, Primary Campaign Source, & Quantity.
                      • Campaign creation permission needed for the user. (for assigning these permissions goto Profile > Edit > Standard Object Permissions > Campaigns > check Read and Create permissions.) Note: Check the "Marketing User" checkbox on the user details page.
                      • Case creation permission needed for the user. (for assigning these permissions goto Profile > Edit > Standard Object Permissions > Case > check Read and Create permissions.)
