    Good day @Teamread

Per your request, we have installed our apps in your instance.

However, in order to complete the post-installation, we need to have the:

    1. Force.com domain set up

Name:	Site Creation.jpg
Views:	24
Size:	231.1 KB
ID:	50837

Please set this up and let us know so we can complete the rest of the installation. Note that you cannot easily modify your Force.com domain name after the registration process.

    2. Establish the connection between Salesforce and Connect.

To establish connection please see the following KB article: https://support.clickandpledge.com/s...ion#Salesforce

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
    Regards,
    Click & Pledge Support Department

I believe I have now setup the site as requested:
Your Salesforce site domain name is
      teamread.force.com

Please complete the configuration. I did read the directions on 2. Establish the connection between Salesforce and Connect and believe I completed this, but could you verify please.

      Thanks - Kevin

        Good [email][email protected]Teamread

It looks like the access to your instance has been expired. Would you please extend the access so that we can review and complete the post-installation in your instance?

            Good day @Teamread

We have completed the post-installation steps in your instance.

However, we are expecting the new release hopefully in the first week of March so please make sure we have access to your instance so we can update your instance with the latest release.

Thank you. I'll provide access for the next month. Going now to work on our settings. One question I am going to have is whether you can have C&P update contact fields like email and address when they are empty, but not overwrite if the SF field already has a value, as we don't fully trust the data coming from donation forms.

Please note that we never overwrite the main contact instead we create the C&P Alias under the main contact with the new information.

So a few questions. I understand that C&P only updates the C&P Alias, and not the Salesforce contact records.

I'm trying to determine the easiest way to automatically capture some of the donation form information such as mailing address and update the contact when the contact information is currently null. Do I have access to for example the address city from the donation page? In the Salesforce/C&P Settings/Custom Mapping UI, I don't seem to have access to address fields on the donor form. Correct? And I don't think I can assign SKU's to donation form address fields either - correct? Is there possible a way to update a Salesforce custom field with the address information, rather than the built-in mailing and other address fields? If so I can create field updates in Salesforce to accomplish what I need.

If I can't map address fields using the Custom Mapping interface, then I have a alternate question:

Is an alias record always created in the C&P Contact Alias related list with each successful donation form submission? Can I assume the most recent alias has the address information from the last online donation? If so, I could probably create a conditional rollup that accomplishes what I want to do.

Ideas on how to do this? I'm new to click and pledge, so want to make sure I'm taking the right approach.

                  Thanks for you advice.

                  kevin
