    I received the following message post-upgrade: "Some components, such as custom objects, custom report types, and workflow rules, must be activated using the package deploy process, before they are available to your organization."

    How do I activate the package deploy process? I can't find any information in the knowledge base.

    Also, how can I find out about needed upgrades sooner? I should not have data not posting to my app in order to find out.

      The message you have received about "some components..." is not something to worry about. That is a generic message that Salesforce always posts after each update. Our team will take care of all the required steps once the upgrade has completed.

      As for your question about "how to get notice sooner".

      Please note that your instance is 1 year old. We have been sending notices almost on a monthly basis to all accounts that are either not up-to-date or about to stop receiving the data. The following areas are where updates are posted and how clients are notified.
      1. An email is always sent for each update to all USERS in an account. The user list in an org receives a notice for all updates.
      2. Update messages are always posted to our Power of Us HUB with each update. Please see: https://powerofus.force.com/s/group/...C/click-pledge
      3. Update messages are always posted on our forum News & Updates: https://forums.clickandpledge.com/fo...-announcements
      4. 30 days after an update message been posted, clients that are not up-to-date are sent monthly emails regarding their instance being out of date.

      Please see how many releases your instance is behind and given the number of steps we have gone through how many times we have emailed your organization.

      We love to make sure your instance is up-to-date and we try hard to notify you. If you can think of any other way for us to notify you and keep our 20,000+ clients happy please let us know.

      Your upgrade process is in the queue and we should be finished by tomorrow, Friday August 16.
