  • C&P Salesforce App Installation

    We'd like to install the app in our production Salesforce.

    Organization ID: 00D0R0000000XCC

    Access granted for the week, and we'd like the Donor Management and Events modules installed. Thank you.

    Good day @jon4321

    We have installed our apps in your Salesforce instance as requested.

    In order to complete the post-installation we need to have the:

    1. Force.com domain set up

    We typically recommend using the organization's website address as the site address in Salesforce. Given this is something that cannot be changed (easily), once it has been set we need your approval before clicking the agreed button. Is this OK to set up?

    2. Establish the connection between Salesforce and Connect.

                    Even though the connection in Click and Pledge says there's a connection to Salesforce, and has the updated Organization ID, I'm seeing that the C&P Accounts page is blank. It seems that there's a piece missing from the configuration because the two systems aren't syncing. I've given you access for a week. Thanks.

                        I put the address in the integration settings, and got this message "Connected Warning: We have established connection with your Salesforce instance but your application is NOT up-to-date. Please upgrade to the latest release at your earliest convenience."

                        I synced for updates in Salesforce, and see "up-to-date" messages there. I still see a blank "C&P Accounts" page in Salesforce though.

                          When this warning shows up it simply means we are unable to read the version number. Given you are up-to-date this can only mean one thing which is the User that is being used for connection does not have permission to read the object. However, we have added permissions to the connected user and should not see that message now.
