    It is highly recommended that you login to the Connect & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce.

      Thanks for the update!

      In following the steps described in the KB article linked in your post (https://cnp.mn/Salesforce-Connection), I've noticed a potential issue with Step #4 of the "Integration with Salesforce" process.

      In our agency's Click & Pledge Connect portal, I've verified the following information is correct:
      • Your Provider
      • Account Type
      • Login URL
      • Salesforce.com Organization ID
      When I click "Verify," I am redirected to a Salesforce login screen where I authenticate with my Salesforce credentials. I am then returned to the Click & Pledge Connect portal where the following message is displayed:
      • "Warning: We have established connection with your Salesforce instance but your application is NOT up-to-date. Please upgrade to the latest release at your earliest convenience."
      I'm not sure how to resolve this discrepancy where the Click & Pledge Connect portal reports our application is not up-to-date. Any assistance you could provide would be much appreciated.

        Good day dreilly

        The error you are seeing could mean that we do not have access to read the objects we need using the Connect user. Is the user you are using as the connected user an admin user? Please note that we need to have CRUD access to all a large number of objects, e.g. our objects, contact, account, opportunity, etc.

        Please verify the connected user access level and let us know if it is an admin user. If it is an admin user and you see the error please let us know the userid you are using and we will review its permissions.

          I can confirm that the Salesforce credentials (dreilly@diverseandresilient.org) that we authenticate with via the Click & Pledge Connect portal are for an admin-level account in our Salesforce instance.

          (Specifically, the role is listed as "System Administrator" in our Salesforce instance, if that helps.)

          In looking at the System Administrator profile in our Salesforce instance, I can see there are dozens, if not hundreds, of different permissions that can be configured.

          Is there anything in particular I should make sure is enabled in order for our Click & Pledge Connect portal to have proper access to our Salesforce instance?

              That did the trick!

              I no longer receive the "your application is NOT up-to-date" message when I click "Verify," but I do receive a "Third Party updated successfully" message at the bottom of the page. From what I can see, it looks like our Click & Pledge Connect portal and our Salesforce instance are operating as intended.

              Thank you, again, for helping us work through the upgrade process!

                Sure.. I just added proper permission sets to your Salesforce user. You could check it.. the permission sets designed for this allow for the Connected user to work if proper permissions are not set.
