      Could you recommend articles for helping me Manage Temporary Contacts? I am currently unable to. I've attached the error message.

          I can't seem to add attendees in the box office who are paying by cash or check. We used to use PO as the payment method then after it uploads to SF account we would change the method from Third Party to Cash/Check then mark it paid. Now when entering I can't get past the payment. Is there a work around to help me not over sell seats?

            Please note that we have removed the Invoice and PO from our payment methods. The Custom Payment type is a generalized method to do this. Simply go to the Default setting and set Custom Payment types and called them anything you want, e.g. Invoice, PO..etc.

            Custom Payment method is an extremely generalized payment option allowing you to name and add as many methods as you want to a form, e.g. Invoice, bitcoin, rocks, etc.

              Has the security changed for different users? One of my users gets an error message when she clicks on "Manage Temporary Contacts" saying she has insufficient privileges to merge temporary contacts. Click image for larger version

              Is there anything further that needs to be updated? We will have all events closed the 2nd week of December and that would be a time we can do it if need be.

                This error will occur when the user don't have needed permission sets. So, go to setup > Administration Setup > Manage Users > Users > Select the desired user > scroll down to 'Permission Set Assignments' > Edit Assignments.

                Add these two permission sets:
                1. PS-CnP-PaaS-Event-TemporaryContact and
                2. PS-CnP-PaaS-ONLY-TemporaryContact

                Click Save so that the user can access the Temporary Contacts.

                      Please see the email below. We are going to shut all event down on FOR C&P to be UPDATED COMPLETELY on DECEMBER 1st. I will open access for this upgrade on the last day of November. How long do you need to do this update? We will need to begin posting new events ASAP.


                      Event Application can be upgraded beginning 12/1/2018.

                      The Click & Pledge applications in your instance have not been upgrade since 2015. As of October 1, applications more than 1 year old are not supported and the data will not post to Salesforce. Please refer to the following article for more information.

                      ***While you have an active event, we cannot upgrade the Event application, but we can upgrade the Click & Pledge Class Library and Click & Pledge Payment-as-a-Service so transactions will begin posting again. In the meantime, you can process the Temporary Contacts from the C&P Temporary Contacts tab.

                      I will have the apps upgraded for you.

                        Sorry but I am bit confused. You are referring to the response dated back Oct 5, 2018 from Debbie (Support Team Member) and in other hand you have also requested upgrade here in this forum thread on the same day i.e. Oct 5, 2018 which has been taken care of on the same day.
