    Good day Coleen :

We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested.

It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the connect & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.

To establish connection please see the following KB article: http://cnp.mn/2dzgsms

Please - We also love to know what you think about our platform. Please review our apps on AppExchange:
Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

I did not take any steps to re-establish the connection. Looking at my C&P Accounts in Salesforce, they are both marked Active. I did two test donations and they went through, and into Salesforce. Is this because you weren't actually upgrading, but were installing only Events?

Do I need to take any additional steps?

      Thanks.

        Good day Coleen

If the data has posted then there is no problem and all is well.

The reason we recommend establishing connection is simply for refreshing the OAuth token. It never hurts to re-verify occasionally as Salesforce may have expired the token after an upgrade. We have seen tokens refresh with an update but not every time. It appears to be random - at least random as far as we are concerned since we have not been able to determine when and why it expires an existing token.

It truly does not hurt if occasionally you visit the page and re-establish the connection and verify it.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if we can be of more help.

          Hello again,
I requested install of the API Class Library also, but I don't believe that it got installed. I checked my list of apps and it is not on there. Please install it. I have granted one week of access, and our Salesforce ID is 00Do0000000KJds.
          Thank you!

I attempted to reconnect through C&P Connect, and appear to have been successful, but have received an error message:

              "Connected
Warning: We have established connection with your Salesforce instance but your application is NOT up-to-date. Please upgrade to the latest release at your earliest convenience."

I attached a screen shot called "C&P Connect error message." What does this mean? You just upgraded everything for us.

I also tried to verify our connection through the other Click & Pledge portal. Should "Enable Salesforce" be checked? I attached a screen shot called "Classic C&P Enable Salesforce"

I have successfully processed one donation through our Salesforce Virtual Terminal and also one through a checkout page on our website, so everything appears to be working, but I want to make sure that we have everything connected correctly.

              Thank you.

                Good day @Coleen

This error means the user that is connecting does not have access to the new object. Is this User a complete Admin?
