Create custom fields for Event object?

Hello. I want to create some custom fields in the C&P Event object. These apply to the event itself, these are not questions for the attendees. The Visualforce page doesn't use Field Sets, so is there another way to make the custom fields available to the user?

Is it on the roadmap to allow user-created custom fields to be placed on the C&P Event create and edit screens?

Yes- this feature is included in 2.x but with limited field types. The challenge is validations through the external page.

I will post the list of types as we get closer to release.
