  • Problem with payments going to opportunities

So we have just gone live with C&P/SF, we did not use it before the current release (not today's). So we are lucky the first registrations are coming in for free events.

We have people signing up for multiple events (separate invoice) but all the opportunities are going to a single event. Do we have something set up incorrectly?

    Charlaine,

I am a bit confused about your issue since we have tried to duplicate your issue but it has no way of happening the way you are describing.

Are you available for a telephone conversation today?

am in this afternoon until 4:00 and than leaving on vacation tomorrow night. I can find time this afternoon or early (est) tomorrow to understand what we are doing wrong.

What appeared to have happened, in the SF Campaign list the Opportunity Name is the Category Name with the person's name. And all the opportunities went to the first event with that Category.

To try and fix this today I just went in and edited the opportunity name and changed it the name of the event.

          Charlaine,

Based on our telephone conversation the following summarizes the issue and the fix:

In your system you had the EVENT set up with the proper Campaign but the LEVEL was set with the wrong Campaign. All your attendees were being registered using the wrong Campaign which was for another event. In your reports you were naturally seeing all your registrants showing up in one Campaign since that was in the settings.

Changing the Campaign to the proper Campaign solved the issue.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
