Now that autoresponder works with events following the upgrade, are there plans to add event fields to C&P Designer's merge fields? Also, is there an available list of event fields that will work in C&P Designer templates?

Good day!
Yes- but that will be part of Event 2.0 which will be released in late April.
You may want to use Transaction list since that includes the list of Items in the basket which is: Level name + attendee name.
Hope that helps.Regards,

That was my guess, so I had tried it. However, when I used Order Item, it placed my name in the field, presumably as record owner, rather than the attendee or registrar. It didn't use the attendee or registrar's name, as I would have expected, though the other information was correct. The image I included was NOT my registration; they all showed up with my name. Anyd idea what would cause this?

Good day!
I am going to research this and get back to you. This feature has been tested quite elaborately but I need to discuss it with the team involved with the Autoresponder. I will get back to you as soon as I have an answer.Regards,

Good day!
I researched this further and ran a lot of tests and the only case your scenario can happen if the opportunity names are changed through the Opportunity naming customization.
Autoresponder is an after-the-fact event. Transactions post to the C&P Data as XML and are parsed and distributed BEFORE insert. Autoresponder triggers AFTER the insert while other actions take place BEFORE insert.
The Autoresponder uses the opportunity names after they are created. The standard receipt that goes out follows the Event naming convention: Level Name - attendee name. Once the transaction posts Opportunity name customization can change the Opportunity name. If you are using the Payee name to be in the Opportunity name then it will change it and Autoresponder uses that name for the emails.
You may want to leave the Opportunity naming convention alone for Events by setting up an SKU convention that simply customizes the Opportunity when SKU does not include a prefix uniquely set for event.
For example:
Event SKU: EVENT-1234
Other Items: DONATE-12345
For opportunity customize naming set it as: SKU Starts with "Donate"
This way the Opportunity name won't change for Events.
Hope that helps. Please test it and let me know if that works for you.Regards,
