Discount for Adding a Specific Item to Your Cart?

Hi,

I am launching ticket sales for a conference, and I want people to be encouraged to join our membership program via the event. Ideally, I'd like to add a "ticket" into our ticketing system that is a membership, and if they add that into their cart, then the get the member rate to the conference. Right now, member rates are given via a discount code provided to them over email. But if someone wants to add membership to their cart, can they get a discounted ticket rate that is triggerred by that item being added to the cart? Or is there a different way to go about this?

Sorry, we don't have that option for now, but you may want to consider using a combined level. For example, you may set up a level with "Event Registration + Membership" with specific pricing you wish to offer and mention a note so that whoever wants to become a member will select that particular level and get a discounted price.
