  • Opportunity not created for event registrations with discounts

    It seems that since the most recent release, C&P isn't creating opportunities for event registrations with discounts. It's interesting, the donation opportunity record is created (when they opt to add a donation), but not the registration/ticket opportunity record.

    I fixed the records from July 28th and 29th for the accounting person (re-processing one didn't solve it, so I didn't even try re-processing the other), but here are some more recent records you can use to review and troubleshoot:That's not all of the affected records, but should be plenty for you to investigate. Org ID is 00Dj0000000HchZ - access has been granted.

    We reviewed your instance and based on the Opportunity settings you have defined, it will not create the opportunity when amount=0.

    If you want an Opportunity with Zero Amount, you must uncheck the "Except if Amount=0" and reprocess the C&P Data for all those order numbers.

      Hi there, it appears you did not review the order numbers I provided, where you would have seen these are NOT $0 opportunities. Please advise.

      For example, order #36994-2208181835204836289 is for $17.50 and did not create any opportunities: Click image for larger version

          We have identified the issue. In the case of the following condition: When it has 50% discount and has the condition on opportunity amount example Except Amount= 0 WITH Gross-Discount = 0 in this case event application have an issue.

          Hopefully, this will get resolved in the upcoming release.

          For now, you can change the following condition under Except if Amount = 0 : from Gross-Discount = 0 TO Gross Amount = 0

          Since you have already set the condition under "Opportunity / Product Amount" i.e Gross Amount-Discount it will handle the case.
