  • Cannot set up new event

    When I try to create a new event, I get this error: "There is a problem with the Salesforce Site settings. Please update the 'Default Settings' before starting a new event."

    I see from other posts that there are missing post-installation steps, but I can't find any information on what those are. Our website is wildliferecreation.org.

    Post-installation is outlined in our Install or Upgrade Click & Pledge Apps in Salesforce article.

    Or, you can grant login access, and we will be glad to complete that post installation for you.

      Regarding your error, it sounds like you have a brand new installation of Click & Pledge Events. You do need to go in the Event Management > Default Settings and select your Salesforce site. The above article does go through the initial post-installation, but it does involve setting up a Salesforce Site, which is rather involved, so you may want to take advantage of the complimentary installation.

            Hello CnP.Support, I am having the same issue.

            I am using the Event Module for the first time. I am getting this error: "There is a problem with the Salesforce Site settings. Please update the 'Default Settings' before starting a new event."
            I have granted access for one week to C&P.
            My org ID is 00D8b000002cgCX
            Please let me know if you need more information.
