Need my site template timezone updated

Hi. I noticed, like others in the past, that event registration emails and sometimes the times displayed on the event page do not match the event's time zone. I have this issue as well. I tried to create a new Site Template but it defaults to GST when it should be EDT. This is throwing the event time in the confirmation email 8 hours behind. Can you update the timezone, please?

We only have one active event: 23rd Annual Event

Update! As previously asked about in posts in the forum, I was unable to find the Events Site Guest User user in my SF Users. I found it by clicking on a Registered user from the Registrations tab. This showed the user that the Registrant was created by. Clicking on the Events Site Guest User link on that page took me to the User page where I was able to update the time zone. This change updated the template to the correct time zone.

Not intuitive at all, but I found it!

HOWEVER, the time in the registration email did update, but it's still not correct. Still need your help.

We reviewed your instance and found that the timezone is correct in both places "User Time Zone" and Site Time". You don't see any time gap for future registrations. However, if you see any issues, please let us know.

Fyr: Here you can change the Time Zone for Site Guest User >> Develop > Sites > Click on Events Site Label > Public Access Settings > Assigned Users > Site Guest User.
