  • Over booking an event

    Hello. We had a very popular event launch today that sold out in under 3 minutes. We had 12 spots open for people to register with the timeout set to ten minutes. Unfortunately, the system oversold our event allowing 14 people to register. The event is now showing a negative 2 inventory. Why did this happen and how can I make sure it doesn't happen again? We are launching a few more popular events in the next few weeks and would hate to have to make more of these terrible phone calls telling people they didn't get in even though their payment went through. Thank you for your help.

        Have you updated the inventory time? However, we are testing with multiple scenarios in our test instances to replicate the issue, once we figure out the root cause, we will update you.

          Hello. If you are referring to the timeout, no we have not updated it. It was set at 10 minutes prior to the launch of the event and not changed.
