    We have an event called 2021 Academy of Women Achievers Luncheon. The event page does not work. Instead, we get this notice:

    "The Event is not found
    There are no active C&P accounts for this event
    There is no Template selected for this Event!
    INFO
    Messages

    The Event is not found
    There are no active C&P accounts for this event
    There is no Template selected for this Event!"

    Please perform any updates needed. We have granted you access/permissions. Our account number is 50322.

    Additionally, if a C&P user, such as myself, created this event but then is deleted from our organization Account, will the event still be able to function properly?

    We have upgraded your instance and completed the post-installation and verified that your event page loading fine.

      if I presume you mean that you, as the user, are deactivated in the CONNECT account, then yes, the Event will function properly.

      If your Salesforce login is deactivated, you would need to make sure you are not the default Record Owner on the Salesforce Site. If you go to Setup (gear icon), and type "Sites" in the Quick Find search, left column, you can review the Site Detail to see if you are listed as the default Record Owner. If you're not, and the person that is listed can use the Event app and will be around as an active Salesforce user - your Events should not have a problem

      Here's an explanation if you want to understand more (otherwise, you may disregard):
      We use a feature of Salesforce called Salesforce Sites lets our app publish an Event registration webpage for your organization without the additional cost of web hosting or purchasing an SSL to secure the Site. A Salesforce Site page is already secure.

      But this means that "the public" can "read" or "write" information into Salesforce - they cannot login, but to host the event page the public needs access to read the information you created for the Event and create the Registration and Attendee records that are available in Salesforce once they register.

      Up until the latest release, we opened up this ability to read and create Event app records with "permission sets", but recently Salesforce up-ended this approach by requiring that opening up Site Security requires sharing rules instead - thus the immediate need for app updates and post installation.
      Part of this change means that the permission sets that were previously assigned to the "Site Guest User" will be deprecated, and those Registration and Attendee records that get created through Event Registration, will list the Site's "default Record Owner" as the Owner and Created By fields, rather than the Site Guest User.

      You may want to review our Salesforce Sites page - Sites has always been the aspect that has made our installations and upgrades more difficult, especially the last 3 releases of Salesforce, as Salesforce is tightening Sites restrictions to push Community (soon to be known as Experience) Sites.

        Hello, I am following up on Jake's problem posted above. He has left our organization and I am stepping in for Click and Pledge support. We have re-established our connection between click and pledge and Salesforce, and also got an email saying our data would be posted. However, we are still experiencing issues.

        On Friday I re-posted data that had not been showing up in Salesforce last month. Some of the data came through, and some of it didn't. For the data that didn't, the opportunity showed up in the temporary contacts, but once we processed it, it disappeared. An example is someone's 2/10 transaction for $50, Order number 50322-2102101233470548259.

        Also, we have processed some gifts that came in the past week, and no opportunities are being created.

        Can you please look into this? We have provided access to our Salesforce again.

            Hello,

            I just re-posted and processed order number 50322-2102101233470548259 and 50322-2102261020357668172 and something odd happened. It created the opportunities as the wrong opportunity record type, and defaulted to a $300 payment amount with their donations being the 'payment' amount rather than the full opportunity amount.             Can you please ensure this won't happen when we process the rest of our donations in waiting?

              The reason you see the value of 300 is because you have static value at Process Builder and that field update at Formula Field.
