  • SalesForce Release broke registration

We are seeing this error when attempting to login to an event
    Authorization Required

You must first log in or register before accessing this page.
If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password to reset it.
It looks like a new version of the apps needs to be installed?

When I look in the AppExchange, the latest versions I see are 10//7/2020.

    I granted access.

If this needs updates, would you do that?

    thanks

    Bob

My org IDs (production and sandbox) are on this link - which is a read once link.

I updated the apps, reset the connection (3 times) and the C&P Settings Page, About C&P Apps shows

Click & Pledge PaaS Class Library 6.2012030000 [Release Date: 12/14/2020] Up-to-date
      Click & Pledge Payment as a Service 9.2012240006 [Release Date: 12/17/2020] Up-to-date
      Click & Pledge Events 5.2012130002 [Release Date: 12/16/2020] Up-to-date

and now I only see this one message when try to view an event

the email seems to come after I click on the button "Assign Permission to the Guest User" in "About C&P Apps" on the "C&P Settings" tab

I got it to work yesterday. I have a question about the process. I installed the latest versions of the C&P apps, assigned permission to guest user and it didn't work. I then later saw the email I mentioned above and things worked after it. However, I didn't explicitly set the Organization Wide Default Permissions so I don't know what triggered SalesForce to do that recalculation and notify me. Do you know what caused SalesForce to recalculate Organization Wide Default Permissions and notify me before there was any indication someone read these posts?

When I did the same process in a sandbox (using our test C&P site), the registration pages wouldn't show properly until after I changed the Organization Wide Default Permissions to match production. After I made those changes, SalesForce sent me the notification email.
