    Hi - we have an event "Introduction to Intimacy September 30, 2020 Online" with 3 registration emails. The third one was scheduled to send at 4:30pm today, pacific time. At 4:45, it had not been sent. I had to hit the "send email" button at 4:47pm to get them to send. After that, they showed up in the log and the email boxes.

    What happened that they didn't send? The email mode was 'active' and the time to send had clearly passed. Is there a delay built in? Did we not set a configuration?

    I granted access to the account.

        Thank you for extending the access. We reviewed your instance and noticed that you have set to fire the email at 4:45 PM. Please note that Emails jobs will run on Every one hour which doesn't consider the minutes which is the reason the email not fired. By keeping that in the mind, we have removed the minutes in the current version which is available at appexchange.

          HI;
          That answer raises a few questions for me.


          1) I was told during live support that it ran every 3 hours to conserve API calls against the SalesForce limits, now you say it runs every hour, on the hour? Would you confirm which answer I should use?

          The reason I had it set to 4:45 was that the 4:30 email didn't send, so tried a different time to see if it would go.

          2) Are you implying that I need to update my C&P installation?

          3) When I use Events Import, I currently set the time for some emails to be 1 hour before the event. In the case of events starting on the half hour, that means the email is scheduled on the half hour. If you removed the minutes, how does that affect imported events? will it only accept integer hours? I'm asking so I can know whether to modify the spreadsheets I use to generate the upload .csv files and whether I need to change the wording in earlier emails to set the expectation of when the last reminder will arrive.

            Good day @BobD

            1. Please note that here there are two jobs to run, first: Event Registration Emails job which will run every one hour, second: PaaS_Maintenance_SelfHealing which will run every 3 hours.

            2. Since the latest version of our apps is Summer 20 compatible, we are suggesting our clients upgrade to the latest version.

            3. Yes, in the latest version of Events, we don't have minutes option in Registration emails. Even if you have set the minutes with events import, it will run every one hour only, not consider minutes.
