  • Custom Question Field Size in Reports

I had a previous post about the custom question field size - and the response was that it was addressed in the Beta. This is a different, but related question. You have access.

If I look in an event ( Introduction to Intimacy July 19, 2020 Online ), click on the attendee record and then look in the Questions and Answers sections, I can see a complete response. However, if I run a "C&P Event Question & Answer Report", the answer field is truncated.

    Good day BobD

Please note that it is not suggestible to view the event in the Standard layout. If you want to download the report you can download it from the dashboard itself. You have Registrant Reports and Attendee Reports as well as a combined report.

That is a very constrained and time inefficient way to work. I want to have create reports where I have control over the fields - so I can present only the needed fields to accounting, to event leaders, etc. This approach requires downloading a file, manipulating it to the format I need and then displaying it. It is cumbersome and slow, which is a lot to ask of my users for something that is frequently used. I would prefer to not have to manipulate routine data presentation outside of SalesForce as that introduces additional issues of version control and errors. Is that being addressed in the beta?
