    BobD ,

This facebook pixel is getting into the page because the Event Management app has a merge field that allows the Registrant to "Like" the event page link from the Thank You page. It's not something you can edit - it's direct code that was set up to create that functionality for our events.

I think you are wanting to convert that, or create something similar, so that it can send the conversion information - you might refer to both as a "facebook pixel", but providing conversion data to Facebook is not at all the same as our app including Facebook code to add a "like" feature,

So I'm afraid it's still not an option.

    Bob,

It is not possible with posting the FB button on the external Registration page but there is one option to track it using URL parameters. At the end of registration link, you can add the following parameters &trk=Facebook

You can share the URL in FB so Registrants can register using that URL.

    Bob,

The one which you are referring to is at the external registration page and that is only for posting/sharing the event link in Facebook. With that link, we can't track the event registrations and that is only for sharing purpose.

I seem to have managed it by adding a Facebook pixel image in the "Thank You message".

I"m not sure how the Facebook script got loaded to the CnP_PaaS_EVT__ExternalRegistrationPage - maybe it was something I did. If you have insights on this I would love them as I can't figure out where this got set. (2nd image)

Here is what I see in the test account.

1 - I altered the thank you text to say "Thank you for registering for this special event." and added the facebook pixel as an image

2 - the page has the facebook code on it - as seen in the view source after I get the thank you message ( this part -how did it get there?)

    Facebook tracking for Event Registration

Hi- We would like to have Facebook track when someone registers for an event via an ad. If I were using a shopping cart on a website, I would use the thank-you page after purchase. Is there a way to do this with event registrations?
