None of our event pages/registration links are working. Instead, the following message appears: "Authorization Required. You must first log in or register before accessing this page.
If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password to reset it."
I suspect the issue is tied to changes that were recently made to the profile "Continuing Ed Site Guest User." The owner of that account was the one who set up our Click and Pledge account, but he no longer works at our company. He asked to be removed because he was continuing to receive error reports via email.
In an effort to remedy this, we changed the email, username, and nickname associated with the Continuing Ed Site Guest User profile and deactivated the profile, not realizing this was tied to event registration. When we started receiving errors that the site was under maintenance, I re-activated the account/profile, and tried changing the username back to what I thought it initially was.
However, now we are getting the Authorization Required error message. I am hoping you can help remedy the problem and enter the correct settings and permissions.
Thank you in advance for your help. Attached are screenshots of the error message and the user profile in question.
