I notice that your user is not a System Admin. Could you assign the permission sets for PS-CnP-Event-All-Permissions, PS-CnP-IaaS-All-Permissions, and PS-CnP-PaaS-All-Permissions to your user, and create the example transaction for the event so we can review?

Primary Contact field is not being set on opportunity
I'm setting up an event and doing some test registrations and the Opportunity Primary Contact field is not being set on opportunity when it is created from the "Additional Payment Option" on an Event. See attached print screen. Can you determine why?
