    Hi Sue,

As you demonstrated in Live Support yesterday that your instance has an unusual configuration, we will continue to review today. You may expect a response tomorrow.

    Regards, Amanda, C&P Live Support

The Attendee is not supposed to get mapped to the Opportunity. The Registrant is supposed to be the Primary Contact on the Opportunity.

The Event app manages the event solely in the custom objects that are installed with the package. The Donor Management (Payment as a Service) app brings the transaction data into Salesforce Contacts and Opportunities. So the Opportunity is created on the Registrant's Contact record.

If you create a custom field on the Opportunity just for the Attendee (you'd create a custom lookup field to the Contact object- I named mine C&P Attendee), then you can map the Attendee to your custom field, but you don't want to map your Attendee as the Primary Contact.

I don't see a way to map the C&P field to an object field so how can I get the attendee into the Primary Contact field?
SKU only allows Custom Text Mapping, and it's not a custom question.

Thank you, I have gone through all the documentation.
I did assign the Campaign for the Registrant and the Attendee but the Opportunity did NOT get assigned to the Campaign.
I had to create a mapping to do this.

The Primary Contact field (required) in this event's opportunities does NOT have any entry so it is not being mapped.
Do I have to map it to a C&P field?

    Good day @slipsey1

You have an option to assign the Campaign within the Event for Registrant as well as for Attendee under Additional Information. Once you assign the Campaign the Opportunity gets assign to that Campaign automatically.

Regarding the Contact, it is automated. To see that you can drag the "C&P Opportunity" related list under the page layout of the contact and drag the "C&P Contact" field at opportunity page layout.

Since you are a newbie, we highly recommend you to review the Event KB articles: http://help.clickandpledge.com/custo...force-overview

Opportunity not linked to Campaign or Contact

    (Newbie)
I created an event in event management.
When a ticket is purchased an opportunity and contact are created.
However the opportunity is not linked to the campaign (just the registrants and attendees) so the campaign does not show a total.
Also the contact is not linked to the opportunity, the only way you can tell it's an opp for the contact is by the name.
I would think this was automatically done? Am I missing something

I can map the campaign to the opportunity by SKU, but I don't see how to map the
opportunity Contact Person field to be equal to the new or updated contact.
