  • Non-admin users cannot upload image files

Hi - there is at least one non-administrative user that cannot upload image files. She is trying to customize an event registration email and gets the following error (attached as file) when trying to upload an image via the WYSIWYG editor. I cannot for the life of me figure out which permissions are required, can you please help? Org ID is 00D17000000BxYV and the profile that needs the appropriate permissions is called "Program Staff". I've granted access for the next 3 days, but hoping you can get to this sooner rather than later. Thanks and let me know if any additional info is required.

    Thanks in advance,

    Kevin

    Good day @srltsupport

We have assigned permission set to that user. Can you ask that user to test now and let us know what they see?

Getting the exact same error message as before, so this did not solve the problem. Can you please document the permissions that you have been adding as you continue to troubleshoot this so we don't encounter the same problems when the time comes and we enable C&P on the production site. That would be helpful. Thanks!

@srltsupport Please test now and let us know if that works. We have created the permission set of the standard object for Documents and assigned to that respective user.

Thank you - that seems to have resolved the issue.

Is there any documentation on your site that specifies which permissions are required, by the way?

It required the Documents object permission and Events File Manager VF Page permission. Please see:
