  • Convienince fee

    Hi,

there is a place in the basic information section for event management where you can assign a convienience fee; in addition, you can select an option in Click and Pledge settigns to have a separate opportunity created for the convieience fee. That is happening, but the opportunities are as follows:

    1 opp for 41.97
    1 opp for 1.97

Why isn't the convieience pulled out of the event registration amount?

And if there is more than one registration level, the convieience fee isn't pulled out (transaction number - Transaction-0319

    Good day @ctugwell

Sorry but I am bit confused. There is NO Convenience fee in Events and the order number which you have shared is the expected behavior of the app. Since there is one item for that registration, one opportunity created with the total amount.

Sorry, but I may be not understanding your question. Would you please be more clear what exactly you are expecting with that transaction?

When setting up an event, there's an option in the levels section for an "additinal fee" to be set. In addition, there's an option in C&P settings that allows you to create an "additional opportunity" for "convienience fee." These two options don't work together?

There are instances where an opportunity is created for the amount + additional fee, as well as, amount + addional fee and an opportunity for just the additional fee.

      Thanks

No, it won't work because Additional Fee and Convenience Fee both are different. For Additional Fee, it won't create separate opportunity but you may map the Additional fee to any of the fields in opportunity.
