  • Some Event Registrations are not posting to Salesforce

    We requested the Event upgrade on 1/3. Since Then we've had 5 transactions that will not post to Salesforce. We've tried multiple times to repost each them from Connect Side, they payments will not post to Salesforce, they have a status of Error. We checked with Now IT Matters and they've said they've not made any changes to our Workflows/Process builders since then, they feel like it's related to the C&P upgrade. The Order Numbers are:

      We have posted the above order numbers to your instance and those are in Temporary Contacts to review and process from there. It looks like due to a number of records to be mapped it might be causing the issues. However, I have forwarded this to our developers to investigate the issue.

        Good morning. Thank you for getting the transactions over to Salesforce. Unfortunately, when I try to resolve the temporary contacts or re-post them in Salesforce, they fail. Can you please help with that?
        I've tried having it create the contact, I've tried manually creating a contact/account and post to that, both options cause an error message. Can you help with this please?

          We just tried to merge the temp contact for the following order#@33189-1901081443051964257 and it has been gone through without any issue. May I know what is the error you are seeing while processing temp contact?

          Please try to process the temp contact and let us know what you see.

              We are sorry for the inconvenience.

              We have researched this extensively and here is the situation:

              Salesforce has limited resources for things we do. In C&P Settings >> Custom Question Mapping you have mapped 300 Questions and you have Event with 2 Levels which have 3 Custom Questions included. When we have to test this scenario, we have to test 3 questions with 300 times which equals to 900 and you have two levels that multiply to 1800.

              Unfortunately, Salesforce CPU limit exceeds with SOQL quires and these limits bound by Salesforce. You may want to consider by reducing the mapping or questions you are asking at Event.
