  • Click and Pledge Settings - changes are not being saved

    We have tried on several accounts to make changes to our Opportunity Mapping in Click and Pledge Settings. We have successfully updated settings and then they go back to their previous setting, either after a short period of time or when one transaction goes through.

    Why might these settings be reverting back to their original?
    One of the settings that we have tried to change is the opportunity record type that is currently blank and says: SKU is blank field >> Donation. See image. We have tried to change this to SKU is General Donation >> Donation. It saves it and then reverts it back to the first one.

    Does the system require that there is a blank option in there?

    We reviewed and noticed that you are at outdated versions of our apps for which support has been ended. If you allow us we will upgrade your instance and review the issue.

      Hello,

      Could you be more specific in regards to what apps are out of date?
      Also is this something that we can automatically set to update, or that can we update on our own to prevent these errors from occurring?
      Please do upgrade our instance.

        We just reviewed the instance and tried to update the applications but are facing a problem. The user, through which we are given access, is not an Administrative user and as such we are unable to perform the update.

        Please grant us access through an admin user so we can proceed.

        We provide free update assistance and it is not automatic. Given our clients may be in the middle of a fundraiser we do not push our updates. Majority of clients want to have control over when an update occurs to make sure nothing breaks their existing code. In case of event, if an event is going through active registration the update will take the event offline during the update which again will interfere with the event's registration.
