  • Registration Widget Width?

    I've always cut and pasted the iframe code for our events into our website's HTML widget. Here's the most current code that I inserted:

    <iframe src="https://sefaa.secure.force.com/Programs/cnp_paas_evt__ExternalRegistrationPage?event_id=a0 u0V00000eb8hnQAA" align="top" height="1300" width="100%" frameborder="0"></iframe>

    You'll see that I've stripped out: &WidgetType=RegistrationWidget.
    I've changed the top height to 1300 to eliminate vertical scrolling and changed the width to 100% to eliminate horizontal scrolling.

    These changes have always worked in the past and produce results like this: http://www.fiberartsalliance.org/hom...ember#knitting which has the following code in the HTML widget:

    <iframe src="https://sefaa.secure.force.com/Programs/cnp_paas_evt__ExternalRegistrationPage?event_id=a0 u0V00000baCDxQAM" align="top" height="1500" width="100%" frameborder="0"></iframe>

    The only two differences in these two events are that the event id's are different and the two events use different site templates. The one that I am having issues with uses our Special Event 2 template; the one that is working correctly uses our Class template.

    Here is the source code for our Special Event 2 template:

    <table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="width:100%">
    <tbody>
    <tr>
    <td colspan="1" rowspan="1">
    <div><span style="color:#f67241"><span style="font-size:22px">Special Event</span></span></div>

    <div>{@Ename}</div>

    <div>{@Edesc}</div>

    <div>{@Registration_Form__c}</div>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </tbody>
    </table>

    I believe that it is the width of the registration widget that is creating the problem, but I can't figure out where or how to change it. Any help to make this latest event look as it should on our website (no scrolling!) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

    Good day @SEFAA

    Would you please share the link URL of the page where you have placed the new event iFrame code?

    We tried to test the iFrame as you described but unable to find the issue as you are describing. However, if you please share more information about the issue including OS, Browser will help us to investigate further.

      Here's the URL of a page where the width is working: http://www.fiberartsalliance.org/hom...ember#knitting

      Here is the URL of the page where it is not: http://fiberartsalliance.org/home/events#SOG

      I use Google Chrome and Microsoft Windows.

        Good day @SEFAA

        We reviewed the page and noticed that there is an extra space in your page content which is the reason you see the scroll.

        Please see:

        Click image for larger version

Name:	Page.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	150.9 KB

        In order to resolve the issue will need to remove all highlighted tag in your page as shown in the above image: "<ul>" and </ul>

        Please check and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

          I would never have figured that out and now that the extra <ul> code is gone, the page looks perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
