When I'm ready to switch to active mode will that clear out all my revenue and registration history? If not, how do I get rid that?

No, you will need to delete all those test registrations. You may do that by simply clicking on a button called "Delete All Test Registrations". It will delete all test registrations processed in Test Mode:
