Ah, my apologize. It is possible to apply the discount code automatically by keeping Coupon Code blank:
Please test it and let us know if you find any issues.

YESSSSS! Is there any way to enter the discount code AUTOMATICALLY, without user input? Or to put in text there to tell people what to put in?
And of course I have another question which I'll create a thread for.
THANK YOU!!!!

Good day @briegull
Sorry but I am bit confused. I see all of your Levels amounts are NOT less than $60 and you are defining $4 or $20 as Max Amount in discount plans?
Please note that in discount plan the Max Amount is for Amount $ NOT quantity:
Please do as follows:
Create 3 Event discount plans.- First with Min Amount $61 and Max Amount $120
- Second with Min Amount $121 and Max Amount $180
- Third with Min Amount $181 and Max Amount $240

Yes, I'm afraid I do. First of all " the cart amount should be equal or less than the Max Amount " should be fine with EQUAL, according to the instructions. And 4.00 for each is EQUAL. Second, I deleted those three accounts and created a new one, just the same, but with min less than max. Doesn't show. I made sure that the url included "&quantity" at the end of it when I viewed it in box office. Restored it to 4.00 and 4.00 in the quantities. Doesn't show.

Good day @briegull
We reviewed and discovered that you have mentioned Max amount in the discount plans as $3, $2, & $4:
Please see:
Please note that the cart amount should be equal or less than the Max Amount in order to apply the discount. If the amount is greater than the maximum amount, the discount plan will not apply.

Good day @briegull
It seems that you haven't activated the Event discount plans. Would you please activate it and test it?

Alas, this doesn't work. or more precisely, I cam't make it work. I worked with Amanda Byrne yesterday at open hour and we spent quite a while on it until I felt guilty for the others waiting in line behind me. I have fiddled with it and fiddled with it and can't make the codes be applied. Attaching a screenshot when I can get the bandwidth to do it. I understand the logic: If total = 240, then apply coupon code quantity /fourthcourse, else if total=180, then apply couponcode quantity/threecourses, else if total=120, then apply couponcode quantity/twocourses, else no discount.

That's so simple I never thought of it! Sounds like it will work perfectly!! i'll play with it. Thanks!

Good day @briegull
In your case, you may use Event Discount Plans. If the Total amount is XYZ, you may apply the coupon code for that particular amount.
Example: If Total is $100 you can apply discount plan 123 for the total.
You need to create set of Event Discount Plans with expected total amounts.
Hope that helps.

Discounts on levels
I use Event mgmt to manage our senior college registration. An event is a semester; the courses taught (30 or so) are "events". People register online and it works beautifully. HOWEVER: we need to have more income so the Board has changed the setup for course payment. If people register for one course (level) they pay $60. But many people take more than one course, and for those they will pay only $40 each. But how can I set this up with C&P? Amanda says there is no such discount in place. Can someone help me with this? Registration won't start until July, so I have a little time. I'm open to any kludge you can come up with!Tags: None
