Good day @AcutedgeLAA
As stated in the other post, the Event application's foundation is based on Opportunities as line items for each registration. This is a product feature and not something we have control over to make it an option at this time.

Have you found a work around for this? we have the same issue, we only want one opportunity created for the entire purchase

Okay, thank you for clarifying!
Then, how can I have the "amount field" reflect the ticket amount plus the additional fee? Simply leave the customized mapping blank perhaps (under Additional Information)?

Good day!
Sorry but they will not be able to help. If they change the way the opportunities are being created it will create havoc with our reports and our structure.
Each item in the basket is one opportunity. That is by design.

Thank you for your super quick response! I will reach out to Salesforce to see if there's anything they can do on their end.
Have a great day!

Good day lreinhardt
Each item in the basket (registration) is one opportunity. Our system relies on the Salesforce definition of opportunity and uses the opportunity to create autoresponder based on the item purchased.
Hope that answers your question.

Multiple Opportunities created when multiple quantities purchased
Hello! I have the option to purchase multiple quantities of an item through my event. When the opportunity pushes through to Salesforce, it creates one opportunity for each item purchased, rather than one opportunity for the entire purchase.
I have the Transaction Total mapped to the Amount field, but the payment field creates a payment for the single ticket cost paid.
Can this be fixed so it only creates one total opportunity, with the payment field reflecting the total payment, rather than these individual entries? Please see the two opportunities for Brissa Sotelo-Vargas purchased this morning as an example (I already fixed the entries for Janet Louie when I discovered this).
Thank you!!!Tags: None
