  • Issue running attendee reports

    When trying to run a report of attendees from an archived event I received the following message:

    "Failed to parse XML due to: only whitespace content allowed before start tag and not M (position: START_DOCUMENT seen M... @1:1)
    An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (CnP_PaaS_EVT)"

    Can you fix this error so I can run just the attendee report, and not the "registrant and attendee report". This has been an ongoing issue. The event is: 2017 Business of Farming Conference: https://asap.secure.force.com/events...80000015FPSAA2

      Hello,

      We are still experiencing the following error message when running a report of the entire event, as opposed to running individual reports for each level.

      Failed to parse XML due to: only whitespace content allowed before start tag and not M (position: START_DOCUMENT seen M... @1:1)
      An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (CnP_PaaS_EVT)

        Would you please grant us login access to your Salesforce account so that we can review whats going on?

        As mentioned in our previous post, we noticed that you are versions behind. If you allow us we will upgrade your instance with latest versions and review the issue.

          Access has been granted. Access had been granted the last time, so I'm not sure what we didn't do correctly. Access has been granted by both me and by Melinda. Please advise.

            We reviewed your instance, it seems that you have deleted some registrant manually from Registrant detail page:

            Please note that in this case you will get VF error for Attendee Details report page and that is an expected behavior.

            We have upgraded your instance with latest versions our apps.

            It is highly recommended that you login to the Connect & re-establish the connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce.

              I have followed the steps to connect the third party integration.
              "Please note that in this case you will get VF error for Attendee Details report page and that is an expected behavior." -- please explain this. How can I pull the early bird attendee list without getting the error message. Are there other settings I need to change. I have not deleted some registrants manually. I have entered some registrations in myself without putting in a registrant. Is this causing the issue?
              I am still getting that error message when I try running the the early bird attendee list.

                Yes, we don't recommend to add it manually. It will cause issues as it includes inventory, discounts..etc.

                However, we reviewed some of those attendees and found that there is some text included in "Contact Data", please remove that text and keep that field blank for all those you entered manually and try to download the report.
