Temp Contacts reappearing after being merged with existing SF contact

  • Temp Contacts reappearing after being merged with existing SF contact

    We have been noticing that occasionally after merging a temp contact with an existing Salesforce contact the temp contact will reappear in the C&P Temp Contacts list and will no longer be linked to the SF contact. In C&P Settings, under Self Healing we have "Auto re-process C&P Data errors" checked, though the C&P Data that is linked to the "new" temp contacts do not indicate an error. Below are a few orders I've noticed this being the case for.

    We reviewed and found that there is NO transactions and opportunities exist for above order numbers. Would you please share the ContactID's you would like merge with for above order numbers so that we can process it and see whats going on?

        We have processed the above temp contacts and continue monitoring it. Please keep the access open and let us know if you see above order numbers in Temp contacts again.

              I'm having the same issue. The following C&P Temp contacts and order numbers keep reappearing after I merge them. They go away for a while and then reappear in temp processing.

                We reviewed and noticed that your instance has outdated version of our apps for which support has been ended on September 22, 2017. If you allow us we will upgrade your instance with latest versions and review whats going on.

                Please share the unprocessed temp order number as well as the ContactID you would like to merge with so that we can process and see whats going on.

                    We have upgraded your instance and processed the above temp contacts. However, we don't see any reappearing of above temp contact.

                    It is highly recommended that you login to the Connect & re-establish the connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce.

                      Hi,

                      Thanks for looking updating. i verified connectivity and it looks good.

                      The temp contacts have re-appeared (the ID number is different, but it's the same info that keeps coming back). This is the fourth time they have been processed and as far as I can tell, these 6 people haven't been registering for multiple events... the information just keeps coming back to the C&P Temporary Contacts. Can you further investigate?
