  • Temporary Contacts Error - name with apostrophe

    We had a temp contact come in and it throws a visualforce error, seems to be due to the name O'Connor. I tried to fix this by editing the record in Apsona but it did not work

    Good day @bill

    We reviewed your instance and noticed that you are at outdated versions of our apps for which we are not supporting. If you allow us we will upgrade your instance with latest versions of our apps which may fix the issue.

      We have an event on Thursday so we our faas implementation is getting ongoing traffic. I thought we had been told not to upgrade with an active event but, if this upgrade is safe to do then please proceed. Otherwise how can I get the temporary record processed.

        Good day @bill

        We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested. The temp issue has been resolved with this upgrade.

        It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the portal & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.
