  • Event Form Field Mapping Issues

We have an event where we ask attendees to provide their t-shirt size when registering. Under Events / Form Fields / Attendee Information Fields (for each level) we have a field label called 'Unisex t-shirt size' which is Mapped to a Contact Object field called 'T-shirt size'. The field is checked as visible and mandatory. Going through each registration I can also see that each attendee has completed this field. However, when I go into the Contact records for the attendees, some of them have no value in the 'T-shirt size' field.

Access has been given and the Org ID is 00DF00000005zU1.

Here's the order number for one that was done by the registrant/attendee online: 1610141057517290884 (The field info seemed to map for all other attendees except the one that registered everyone - B Griffith)

And one that we did through the Box Office: 161027152633832

          Here's one that I just did: 161028133053542

It looks like its the registrations for contacts who already have contact records in SF. When we process the Temporary Contacts as New contacts, the info comes over into the field. However, when we process the TC with an existing SF contact, the info does NOT come over into the field.

            Good day @[email protected]

Since it has been merge with existing contact, the information will be in C&P Contact Alias. In case of merging with existing contact, we DO NOT override the contact information but will create the Contact Alias under the main contact so that you won't lose any of the contact information. You may override the information manually by clicking on "Copy to Contact" button.

If you go to the above Contact and look for Contact Alias related list you will find the information:

Hope that answers your question. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
