  • Temporary Contact Error Message

    Hello

    When trying to resolve two temp contacts (TC-0718 and TC-0765) I receive an error message.
    STR: C&P Temporary Contacts, Click on those contacts, receive error message.

    Login access has been granted.

      The issue is the transactions you see the problem with are EVENT declined transactions. In the previous release we were moving the attendees to the new registration if the registrant tried again and was authorized after an initial decline. Doing this was resulting in the DECLINED transaction to be orphaned & generate the error you are seeing.

      In the new release we simply create another registration and leave the decline as is so it will not have any orphaned registrations.

      If you want we can go ahead and delete those two declined records. is it OK to delete them? you really do not need them.

      However, we noticed that you are version behind. If you would like us to upgrade your instance with latest versions of our apps, please let us know.

              We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested.

              It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the Connect & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.
