  • Question about attendees

Kamran asked me to post this to the Forum. This person registered for our event, but for some reason it made her (Dana G) 2 attendee records. Order # 160829094743850 https://na34.salesforce.com/a0x61000001EfDpAAK

    Good day kmorgan

We have spent a lot of time researching this and believe we have finally figured out what is going on - we think!

    The following registration:

The C&P Data posted for this transaction shows 2 attendees, as marked by 1 in the above image. The attendee marked as 2 has a different time stamp that is different from the first 2 and show as having been edited by you.

When we go to the parent registration of the second attendee we do not see the attendee. It seems like the registrant for that attendee has been changed in the Salesforce standard view of the attendee and the opportunity.

The 3rd person is not part of this registration and is part of another registration and in that registration it has been removed since that registration has no attendees.

    Have you moved the attendee?

That is the only explanation that answers all missing pieces. How can an attendee have a different time stamp than the first 2 in the registration. Strange..

I did move Dana Garrett when I thought I could possible delete her (before asking the question during office hours). I think that attendee records was tied to her partner David Butz, but if you look at his registration it only lists him. I had tried to manipulate the C&P data and reposted to Salesforce to see if that would make a difference. So I likely made your job and mine more difficult... sorry, thank you though for taking the time to look into this.
