Hi Team,
I’ve encountered an issue that I need to bring to your attention, in case we have some kind of configuration issue with our SalesForce instance (or possibly a permissions issue with a field, preventing Click & Pledge from seeing it).
In our SalesForce instance, if we go to Setup > Build > Customize > Contacts > Fields, under the “Contact Standard Fields” and under “Contact Custom Fields & Relationships”, there is no field called “Company Name”.
Yet, under Click & Pledge, Click & Pledge Settings > Custom Question > Custom Question Map, under “Custom Question Map Field Settings”, there IS a field called “Company Name”. Here’s a screen capture:

So, somehow Click & Pledge is picking up a field that evidently does not exist where it’s supposed to exist in SalesForce, yet it’s absent. Complicating matters is that, still in Click & Pledge, under “Event Management”, in Event > Designer > Registration Form, in the “Contact Fields” tab, when selecting a mapping for a custom question, this field likewise is absent. Again a screen capture:

As you can see above, the fields are in alpha order, yet “Company Name” is missing. So it IS present in one part of Click & Pledge, but not in another, and appears missing in SalesForce, yet does exist in at least one place in Click & Pledge.
So I mention this in case there is indeed some data-synchronization issue or configuration issue in SalesForce. But it’s troubling that it doesn’t appear in any of our SalesForce Contact Fields definitions.
Anyway, just wanted to bring this to your attention. Let me know if you need any more information about this from me.
