  • Free ticket invoice

In our event, we have sponsors to whom we want to send eTickets. Their tickets are free as a part of their sponsorship, so we do not want to generate and send a receipt to them as we do for paid tickets. We generate the sponsor tickets in the Box Office. Is there a way to continue to send receipts for paid tickets but not for these free tickets?

    Sure Tim!

If you go to your C&P Event Management tab, go to your event, go to Registration Emails, choose the email that goes out for this event, and remove the Sponsorship ticket level from the list of ticket types the email applies to.

If your autoresponder is going out through C&P Payments as a Service or a Salesforce email, this wouldn't apply.

    Hope that helps!

Tried that, to no avail. We are not using autoresponder in Salesforce. I have attached the receipt email I received.

        Tim

The email you have submitted is the system receipt. That receipt is always sent to the organization and if the SEND RECEIPT option is checked it is always sent to the card holder or the registrant.

The Registration Email is what may be customized. In Event there is a tab called Registration Emails. That may be set to be sent for each payment type and level as well as to the registrant or attendee. The option provides any permutation you wish to have.

If you want to use the "Registration Email" and not send the SYSTEM receipt then uncheck the System Receipt as that, as stated before, does not have conditional and is either sent to all registrants or not at all.

        Hope that helps.

If you go to your C&P Event Management tab, go to your event, go to Messages, here you will see Send Receipt option:
