Auctions checkout creates opportunities for "Auction Purchases"

When I checkout of an Auctions for Salesforce auction, C&P seems to be creating new opportunities named "Auction Purchases" for purchased items, which already have opportunities (Auctions for Salesforce creates GW Auction Purchased Item opportunities when the purchases are logged). Thus far in my testing of Auctions for Salesforce with Click & Pledge I've focussed on ticket purchases, so I don't think I've seen this behavior yet. Is this the expected behavior with the current level of integration between Auctions and C&P? Is there a way to suppress the creation of "Auction Purchases" opportunities?

Yes, it is an expected behavior. We are creating the opportunity for Tickets and Check In, Check Out. The reason is, we don't have a way to update the opportunity which has been created by Auctions for Salesforce. We are creating the opportunity with all payment details once the transaction has been processed.
