  • Registrants in CnP event create two temporary contacts in Salesforce

    It appears that two temporary contacts are created for each new registrant. What's up with this? Does it matter? Are they being charged twice?

    Didn't include STR because the steps are just: go into CnP Temporary Contacts and see that there are 2 temp contacts for each registrant. Access has been granted. Org ID 00Di0000000aeyi

      NO, they didn't charged twice. The reason you see two temp contacts because one is Registrant (payer) and another is Attendee. In earlier versions of Event the Attendee temp contacts can process within the C&P Events Temp contact but from the 4.1x release Event's temporary contacts are part of the global C&P Temporary Contacts.

      There is a pull down menu at the top of the C&P Temp that shows you if they are related to event attendees or the payment.
