How should the Fee Column in the default registration block be used?

Here are the steps:

1. Go to the Event
2. Click on the Additional Information tab
3. Scroll down to the "Registration Fields Visibility"
4. Click on the Show/Hide and hide the field as shown below

How should I use the Fee column in the default registration block if I'm not passing the C&P fee on to the purchaser? Can the column be removed, and if so, how would I do that? Thank you!
