  • Need help with Events Management

    I'm having lots of problems with my event page. Could someone look at it? I'll try to follow the instructions to allow access.

    Sure. but please make sure to include detailed information with each post to minimize replies.

    What is your organization name, account number and also we need access to your account.
    Please make sure to post your organization name & the Salesforce Organization ID so we know how to locate your instance. As part of the process we will also upgrade you the latest instance of our applications. If you don't wish to be upgraded please let us know otherwise we will update your instance.

    Once we have the details we will review it.

        Some of my issues

        Where are the event templates? I seem to have two different versions or something. I make changes and then they don't seem to be there. One version as the event picture way to large. One version is right, but doesn't have my widgets. I can't seem to find my way to the templates!

        How do I delete some unwanted sections? I get a message about needing to delete the custome questions, but I can't figure out where I can do that.

        Is my page active? When I try to visit it, I get a message about needing to log in but there is no place to do that.

        I'm sorry to be so lost here.

          Good day!

          It seems like you are creating a different Salesforce site for each of your events.

          Please use the same Salesforce site URL for all your events and Click & Pledge features, e.g. autoresponder, event, etc.

          The post-installation was done for: http://isdd-home.force.com/default

          That means all the permissions, etc. are all setup for that page and if you create any other SITES we have to set up the permission for those as well. Note that the events are shown based on the parameters in the URL and the base URL is only for a page that has the permissions set.

          Please change all your events to use the same site URL as the one set originally: http://isdd-home.force.com/default

          Your instance is also not at the latest release. If you want we can upgrade you to the latest release.

          Let us know if you still have any problems.

            I'm sorry, I don't understand what I need to do. I'm afraid I need step by step instructions. I only want one event - BTC 10.

            Also, I have unwanted sections in my registration form and I can't see how to get rid of them. I am really struggling with this!

            Yes, please, please upgrade me.

              I copied and pasted the link you gave to the URL window on the event and that seemed to work. But there are still things there I don't want and don't know how to get rid of. Why are there two weather channel windows that are blank with one saying blackburn VA? Also, how do I add templates? There only seems to be one available and it's not the one I want.

                I have created other templates (BTC 10) but it doesn't show up on the list. This is very frustrating.
