    Good afternoon,
    We're having a huge problem with our payment processor, for which we use click and pledge. Two people called in one day when trying to purchase materials from our site to say that they got a message that said "error no parent product set for variation 0." After a while, I received an error message email saying their order had been cancelled. I cannot say if it's also happening with our event registration page or not. I think it did happen once last week, but did not come up again this week.

    On another note, I just tried to register myself for a training to test the system and see what was going on and my registration information didn't push through to Salesforce. I got a back-end receipt, but nothing more and when searching my contact record, that campaign information was not there.

    We really need some help!

    I am a bit confused as this does not seem to be an error from our site-- I have never seen that error. May I have the link to the page you are using for registration?

      The main issue is with our materials page: https://parentingjourney.org/shop/ Our IT guy disabled the credit card payment option. I can ask him to reinstall it if you need to see it.         Is the error showing up in this page?

        You have included an event page also-- is the error happening in the EVENT or in the shopping system? I have no idea what that shopping system is..

          The error is happening in the shopping system. And click and pledge is our payment processor for those materials. Or so I thought....?

            Good day!

            The message you are seeing is not a C&P error message. This is why I am a bit puzzled.

            Is it OK if I put a couple of items in the cart & move forward to see what the application is? Do you know what shopping cart you are using?

              Well a client read me that error message, so it could be the wrong message to be honest!

              Yes, you can move forward with the items in the cart. The shopping cart is a Woo Commerce plugin and the payment processor is Click and Pledge.

                oh! that explains it. It is a WooCommerce error message.

                We have to review the integration and see how the processor is set. I was confused since you are showing the shopping cart and the event management and they have nothing to do with each other.

                Please go to: http://help.clickandpledge.com and create a ticket with reference to this post. We need access to your instance in WooCommerce so we can go in and review the installation and your products to see what the issue is. It seems like in WooCommerce the basket is empty or some relationship between the product is not set. The error message is appearing before it hits the payment processor.

                The error message you are reporting is not a C&P error as our error messages are listed here: http://manual.clickandpledge.com/Response.html

                What you are seeing is WooCommerce error before posting to the payment engine and based on what I see it is related to how a product is set. Unless we login we will not be able to see how your cart is set up.

                  It doesn't seem like Woocommerce is the error, because it's possible for people to choose the materials and check out by clicking invoice instead of using the credit card.

                  Is there a more private way to send you login information? Why am I creating a ticket with reference to this post? I've created several about this problem already.

                    Good day!

                    The team that handles the 3rd Party integrations has been out this week, after their last update so they took a week off.

                    They will be back on Monday & will review this. The reason I ask that you post it to the help desk is that it is not in this forum and this is a public forum. We need to login to your account and test it. As stated, this is not a C&P error and we will try to help you as much as we can, but in the meantime you may want to explore the WooCommerce forum or support.

                          Unfortunately, it didn't work. Can you please update me when the bugs are fixed? I will share with you what our IT guy said:



                          I updated and immediately got this error (as, apparently, the files removed themselves during the update):



                          So I went to the GitHub repo for the plugin, and downloaded it from there.

                          They’ve screwed up something oh Github, because the plugin folder has a readme file in there, and nothing else. (The core plugin php file(s) are missing).

                          Next, I went to the WordPress repo and downloaded the plugin manually, and there they’ve screwed up when they made their most recent commit; they probably don’t know it yet – they’ve accidentally put their plugin files inside two nested folders called/woocommerce-clickandpledge-gateway/. So I removed the files from one of those folders, rezipped the files up, and installed the plugin, which now activates correctly.

                          Unfortunately, without even even making that payment gateway live, I’m seeing this error message:



                          Honestly, this is amateur hour.

                          I’ve disabled that gateway again (the error message, which I can’t seem to resolve, says it won’t work), but this means that they’ve put out two major releases in a row with breaking errors – and in the case of the current one, they’d have found an error if they even updated the plugin on any site. That implies they’re doing zero testing on these updates, and they’re a payment processor; that’s problematic.

                            We reviewed your instance and processed a test transaction Order#1607200352154061111, the transaction processed successfully. We found NO issues in your instance.

                            Please note that all of our products will release only after completing multiple testing phases with ton of scenarios. The plugin files which you are referring to have been moved a year ago, it is also mention in the github:
