  • Deleting an "Attendee" from C&P Event

    Hi. We had an attendee book himself a ticket -- and then get booked again by someone else. So we need to delete the second booking. We've done that from SFCD, but have not found out where possible from within C&P.

    Are we (Finance? ADMIN?) lacking some requisite permission?

    The original request

    I need to delete the registration for XXX ShoeXXXXX that was submitted by XXXXXX TucXXX. I already deleted the opportunity but I don't know how to delete the registration so that it no longer shows up in the C&P Event Module.


    She had submitted it and requested an invoice but he already paid..

    We cannot find this person as you apparently have deleted it already.

    Please let us know the Order Number so we can find the related entries.

        1. The attendee & the related custom questions/answers
        2. The registrant and the related custom questions/answers
        3. The transaction & related question/answers
        4. The related opportunities
        5. Adjusted the inventory

          I also need an attendee remove from an event, I used to be able to do this easily before the update. The event is "First Time Home Buyer Workshop- 2015 April" and the attendees to be removed are "Kristina Eldredge" and "Matthew Eldredge". Please update inventory as well.

          Is there another way to be able to do this myself? Losing this functionality in the upgrade has been a problem for my organization.

            I now have another attendee to have removed from a different event, is posting to the thread the best way to keep handling these requests?

              Good day!

              We are having a release due out by next week (April 1, 2015) that allows for deletion of registrations.

              Please wait till then and you will be able to do it easily by clicking on any registrations.

              This feature was removed as part of removal of the standard Salesforce pages since it was causing major problem with people deleting part of an entry and creating major issues with reports, etc.

                  Good day!

                  We at 99.9999% done.. trying to release it today.. if it does not go live today it will be early tomorrow morning.

                  A notice will be posted to the News section. If you subscribe to that forum you will automatically be notified anytime we have an update.

                      New release... are there help notes?

                      I have upgraded to the new release but am having trouble seeing how to delete 'live' registrants. the 330 webinar does not seem to be working?

                        Are you sure you have upgraded to the latest release?

                        This release does not show as an upgrade in the C&P Settings since we want to make sure people read the release notes before upgrading.

                        Check the version number in the Salesforce Installed Packages- the version should be: 2.6000.22

                        Once you upgrade go to the Registrations > Select a registrant > Delete Registration button should be there.

                        Please let us know if this resolves the issue.
